Hello! I am Jessica Marley, Owner & Event Planner of The Local Inc.
The Local Inc. is an event planning business based on Vancouver Island, led by event planner and certified wedding coordinator Jessica Marley. With 20 years in the industry, Jessica offers full-service and partial wedding planning designed around each couple’s vision, along with day-of coordination for a stress-free celebration.
Beyond weddings, The Local Inc. is proud to support the local small business community, hosting curated markets and community events across BC that bring shoppers together with incredible local makers and shops.
Whether you’re planning your wedding day, looking to shop local at one of our markets or just come out to one of our fun community events, we’d love to connect.
In March 2020, my family and I embarked on a journey from Ontario to British Columbia, seeking a new beginning amidst the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant communities of the West Coast.

Bringing people together is at the heart of everything we do. Before weddings joined The Local Inc., we spent years creating community events across Vancouver Island, from local markets that showcase small businesses and makers to Pickleballooza at Beban Park. Today we host a growing lineup of events, including seasonal markets and our annual Jingle and Mingle holiday social. Every event is built on the same idea: support local, have fun, and leave people feeling more connected to their community.
